Introduction
The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) at VUBC was established in 2024 under the leadership of the College Principal, who serves as the Chairperson. The club aims to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, empower students with essential knowledge and life skills, reduce stigma and discrimination, and develop volunteers into effective peer educators within the community.
Activities Undertaken
Under the chairpersonship of Sr. Janet Mendonca, Principal of VUBC, Mr. Dani Tabiyo, NSS Coordinator, was appointed as the Programme Officer of the Red Ribbon Club.

All NSS volunteers of the VUBC unit are automatically enrolled as members of the Red Ribbon Club, ensuring active participation and wider outreach.
Following their enrollment, volunteers undergo an orientation session where they are briefed about forthcoming events and initiatives. They also receive information on key topics such as HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention methods, and strategies to combat stigma and discrimination.
